Daniel Krištof named HR Director of DIRECT Pojišťovna
On 1 September 2008, Daniel Krištof (29) became the HR Director at DIRECT Pojišťovna. He comes to us from the Deloitte Company, where he worked in a number of managerial positions, most recently directing the Human Capital Advisory Services Division for the Czech and Slovak Republics. In his new position, Daniel Krištof will be responsible for directing the HR processes of DIRECT Pojišťovna.

Daniel Krištof has several years experience in directing human resources. He studied psychology at Charles University, worked as a psychologist for ČEZ and as a project manager and trainer for the Training & Consulting Centre. He had been working at Deloitte, since 2003
DIRECT Pojišťovna’s new HR director has extensive experience managing projects in central Europe for clients operating in the production, energy and financial service sectors (for example: Cadence Innovation, CEMEX, ENEL, United Bulgarian Bank, Croatia Osiguranje). From 2005 to 2007, he established Human Capital Advisory Services in Croatia.
Daniel Krištof speaks English fluently and can also communicate in German and Croatian. He is married and his hobbies include photography and sports, especially hiking, bicycling and swimming.
DIRECT Pojišťovna entered the Czech market on 21 May 2007 with direct sales of auto insurance. Initially it offered third party liability insurance, to which it added automobile casco insurance in August 2007. In April of this year, it extended its product portfolio to include motorcycle insurance.
The sole shareholder of DIRECT Pojišťovna, a.s. is Intouch Insurance Group B.V., which is 50% owned by international group DIFI (Direct Insurance Financial Investments Ltd.) and 50% by British insurance group RSA (RSA Insurance Group Plc.).
