Attractive girls and untraditional ways of using their cars is how car owners in Samara choose the insurance company
Samara, September 8, 2008 – In August INTOUCH INSURANCE carried out an opinion poll among 200 car owners in Samara and the Samara region.

More than half of the respondents (75%) are men with driving experience of over eight years. Although the majority of them view their car as a personal vehicle, 6.2% of the respondents use it to transport their pets and another 4% even believe that a car is a good way to pick up girls.

Some 20% of the people surveyed are strongly opposed to mTPL policies. Among owners of cars priced below $10,000, 39% buy the mTPL policy alone, with CASCO insurance purchased by only 6%. For cars priced between $10,000 and $20,000, CASCO and mTPL are a must for 35% of the car owners.

The survey also showed that it is women who are better informed about insurance companies in Samara: 52% of them know about INTOUCH INSURANCE. More than one half of all the men surveyed (52.7%) would like to have their mTPL policy couriered to them, while owners of second-hand cars tend to apply for a policy by phone (21.2%) rather than to buy one from an insurance agent on the street (7.9%). These people would certainly like the direct insurance system offered by INTOUCH INSURANCE, when a policy is delivered to any location identified by the client.
