RSA With an almost 300 year heritage, RSA is one of the world’s leading multinational quoted insurance groups. It has the capability to write business in over 130 countries with major operations in the UK, Scandinavia, Canada, Ireland, Asia and the Middle East and Latin America. RSA has around 22,000 employees and provides general insurance products to over 20 million customers worldwide. In 2007, its net written premiums were £5.8bn.

RSA has market leading positions in many of its chosen segments and has a strong track record of delivering customers quality, innovative solutions and underwriting and claims expertise.

With operations in over 30 countries, the Group is divided into three regions, International, Emerging Markets and the UK:

UK: RSA is UK’s largest Commercial, with a market share of over 13% and third largest Personal lines insurer. MORE TH>N, its direct operation selling to customers by phone and over the web has over two million active policies.

International: International comprises RSA's businesses in the mature markets of Scandinavia, Canada, Ireland and Italy.

Emerging Markets is the group's fastest growing division and includes 20 operations in Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, and Asia and the Middle East.

Direct Insurance Financial Investments Ltd. ("DIFI") is a public company, traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, and specializes in selling insurance policies directly to the customer without using agents or any other intermediaries.

As a world leader in the provision of superior financial services, DIFI has experienced continued growth and success since its establishment in 1994.

The company's strategy consists of three key goals:

Development of the core business in Israel, ensuring continued innovation and competitive pricing.
Expansion of the company's financial services portfolio in Israel, including asset management and consumer credit.
Establishment of new insurance companies in high-potential emerging markets internationally via the INTOUCH insurance group.

DIFI provides a wide range of advanced financial services through it 3 major subsidires:

Direct – IDI Insurance Company. (85% owned by DIFI), Direct – IDI was the first direct insurance company to operate in Israel. It is currently the largest company of its kind in Israel, holding a 12% share of the individual motor insurance market. The company deals with individual insurance – general (vehicle and household), life, disability, and long-term savings – that can be purchased directly over the phone or the internet. Direct - IDI was the first Israeli insurance company to enable customers to purchase car insurance online.

Yashir Investment House. A member of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, Yashir Investment House offers a wide range of financial services to both private and institutional customers, including mutual funds , portfolio management, pension, provident and compensation fund management, diverse investment tracks adapted to the personal preference of the customer, and brokerage and underwriting services.

Direct Financing. The Group's consumer credit company, Direct Financing has been primarily offering car equity loans since May 2007.
